So the mentos and cola myth.... how would i make the highest eruption with one pack of mentos and 2 two liter cola bottles.... The only thing we can alter is the top (so possibly create a nozzle, but what kind of nozzle?)... let me know of any ideas please! thank you!

well how about poking a single, small hole in the original cap? The pressure could only escape through the one opening so it might be a possible solution...Good Luck!!! But the trouble is probably going to be screwing the cap back on in the first place! Another idea would be using one of those pressure seal caps like the ones on some Heineken (I think) bottles that might be a faster way to get the cap on... just a thought...Hope that helped

Water balloon packs come with a little plastic nozzle that would probably fit on the bottle's top.

if you can drill a tiny hole in the lid, attach some mentos to a string, put that string through the hole, screw the lid on (with the mentos inside) then drop the string in that will get the biggest one. its cool to watch, we did this at my school so try itSmile just remember a rain coatBig Grin
