I live an tornado alley and it seems like it takes a long time for our news stations to report tornado sightings. Is there a faster way to get recent tornado sightings?

Sorry, I mispoke, its probably more due to the power going out anytime even a minor storm comes by so its not the media's fault.

I would suggest you getting a weather radio and a digital police scanner so you can listen to your areas spotters. And make sure you have good batteries in them. Then you will have all the info you need
