I have a passion for being in the middle of storms. I love the experience. Problem is...I don't have a passion for meteorology or weather in general. I'm just a storm lover. I have been an IT (computer guy) for 10 years. I've watched a show on TV that follows storm chasers and I noticed something...they use a lot of computer equipment when they're on the road! Are there opportunities for IT's out there?

I don't mean to go out on my own...just to go along with an established crew who needs an IT to keep their equipment working.

The need for IT personnel in storm chasing is about as redundant as your "go play with barbies" quip.
