Hey Mike, My job has to be one of the dirtiest ones out there. I live in NE Oregon in a small town along and interstate with a mountain pass on either side. My father and I run a towing business that includes semis, medium duty, cars, and farm tractors on occasion. We have some pretty dangerous road conditions. When we get a rolled over semi we are in charge of cleaning up the road, the truck and the load which can vary from beer to apples to beans to radioactive test rats...that's right radioactive test rats! We are in rain, snow, blizzard, ice, mud, whatever the road conditions may be we are on call to assist whatever the situation may be. We also recover fatal car crashes which aren't pretty either. We have police contacts so we tow impounded vehicles for DUII and drug arrests. Sometimes these vehicles are loaded with drugs. When I get up in the morning, there's no telling what the day will bring me. I might be rolling around in the mud on the side of the interstate, I might be driving up unplowed mountain roads to recover vehicles, or I might just be maintaining our own trucks. No matter what, it ends up being a DIRTY JOB! Thanks for considering, Jason Mckaig Captain Hooks Towing LaGrande, OR
