That is for my Dog Remington; Tempi (boyfriend's mother's dog - who got me hoooked on ACDs) and Rascal (my mother's dogs) are on the family thing too.

I think I will go with Chicken Soup, hopefully this place won't over price their products.

As for the whole dogster thing; I may be a teenager, but I don't get most of it at all. There is too much, it's too confusing - and I don't enjoy it much at all lol.

I sent you a message. Smile

Is it so amazing to state that a breed trate is to be expected once a dog matures? That's the only thing about dogster. like many people heavy animal forums people get very insulated.

I even linked to pitbullforums.com which is NOT a small group of people but a LARGE LARGE number of experienced breeders owners and the like and there is STICKY on pitbulls in dog parks. Apparently I'm just stupid and uneducated.... Whatever next people will say border collies herding is not a breed trait.

I disagree with that. As long as that Pit Bull is socialized at a young age, there should be no problem. Of course if a pit bull is dog aggressive it can do a lot of damage. If you put it that when then it's stupid to own any dog and not expect dog aggression at a more mature age.

All dogs are different, but most pit bulls are dog aggressive.

My pit bull isn't dog aggressive to every single dog that she meets, but she's more so then any of my other dogs, and also poses the biggest threat out of my dogs.

She's also very prey driven, and will go after anything that runs fast.

That's why I keep her in my fenced yard, in my car, on a leash, or roaming my parents ranch.

Even when I take her out to my parents though, she's been fighting with my mom's dog, who is her full sister. We've been having to keep a really close eye on them, because as Malikye gets older, her tolerance for Ivy (mom's dog) dwindles every time we visit.

Actually if a pitbull is socialised or not if purebred it most likely will develop some form of dog aggresion by the time it matures at 2-3. Again I point to the articles at badrap many other pitbull rescues or most pitbull resources.

Most pitbull owners and when i say this i mean experienced owners of the breed and even trainers, breeders and behaviourists tend to crate and rotate their dogs to avoid fights. I find the only purebred dogs that are not dog aggresive are the minority of ones that simply aren't, are of dubious lineage and probably mixed or have come from breeders who have been trying to remove the dog aggresion from pits.

Despite rumors started by the hsus when pitbulls became a part of dog fighting their was no training using bait dogs. These dogs simply did not like other dogs. They did not have to be made that way, they were cultivated to create a human friendly temperment (human handlers had to be in the ring with the dogs hence the need for them to be very people friendly) and hate any and all dogs presented to them. A dog that would not fight was considered a cur and would not be bred.

It's not like it's the end of the world, dog aggresion that is. Even a dog aggresive dog can be taught to mind and that is all that matters. Dog aggresion isn't just "i want to kill another dog" it comes in levels.
