Tipping her water bowl when it's almost her dinner time. I finally bought one of those that's supposed to be no-spill, well the first day she had it she couldn't figure out why it wasn't spilling. Made me quite happy, until she got frustrated and picked it up with her mouth and spilt it all over the floor.
I would have to say the wet, sloppy toy placed in your lap. Just when you think you've played enough... here comes the gross toy, back in your lap!
Another would be when we're in the car. She puts her head over the seat and "drips" on you.
I also can't give her any kind of edible chew. She will immediately find a spot to hide it. It wouldn't be bad except that she "buries" it in the carpet. Then she tries to "cover" it by pushing the carpet with her nose. She ends up bloodying her nose, the carpet and the wall!
All of the problems you listed as choices I fix by saying "enough" and they stop.
My BIGGEST annoyance is when I get up to go to another room Jeffrey HAS to follow me. He can dead asleep and will wake up just to follow me. Also he has a habit of stupidly standing in your way or getting to close to my lags when I am walking which makes me trip over him.
The most annoying thing Kassie does is when she wants me to pet her she will place her paw on my hand, spread her toes so that her claws really grab hold and my pull my hand towards her- no joke she seriously does this. She has gotten better at not doing it though.
Another annoying she does is when we are on road trips and we let the dogs out to go pee Kassie just wont go. It gets to the point where she wont pee for two days or more which ends up making her sick. She just gets to smelling everything and forgets that she has to go. But we figured out how to break her of this. We take her for walks on the rest stops. She is not allowed to smell anything and usually on the way back to the car she will go. But we just figured this out on this last trip we took during x-mas. Sometimes it worked and sometimes it didnt but we made sure we praised her a lot when she did go pee. This why Im beginning to have a preference for boy dogs- they will go anywhere
once she learns she's not supposed to do something, such as, she's not allowed on the couch, she'll do it every single time we're not looking.
she's not allowed to chew on anything but her chew toys. so once i noticed her little scheme. she'd sit on whatever she wanted to chew and watch me til i'm out of the room or not paying attentio and rip into it like there's no tomorrow!
i've tested this when i tried to teach her she can't chew her tug-o-war rope. soon as it wasn't allowed anymore, she wanted it.
typical girl. soon as she can't have it, it's the thing she wants most in the world.
I voted wrong, but Pepper likes to hear himself bark. He barks all day. He barks at the cats, he barks at the grass, he barks at me, he barks at himself
haha lizzie, its nice to have a dog with no issues.. lol
My dog Roxy likes to "bury" her toys and treats, but not in dirt, in the rug. She pretends to dig a hole, puts her treat in, then covers it with the imaginary dirt with her nose. haha And she looks completly confused when we find it. as if she's saying "hey! how'd you find that, i just buried it!" Its funny, but takes a little life out of the rug.
Did you my post above? My dog buries her stuff in the rug also. She actually bloodies her nose (and the carpet and the walls). It is very annoying. I have to take away her treats once she is done chewing on them.
My Wheaten Terrier loves to eat plants. It gets very annoying when she attempts to consume leaves and dirt all together. However, she always stops when she's caught! Very hard to get mad at her cause she's so cute!
My border collie is obsessed with squirells! He barks non-stop at them and it gets very, very annoying!!! He also has this obsession with likcking my hair and rubbing himself all over it when I get out of the shower! It's cute, but after awhile, it gets annoying!
Enjoy Jeffrey...believe me you will miss him dearly when he is gone. My Sam did the same thing...he was as big as a moose and folowed me everywhere. As he got older, with all his aches and pains, he still followed me from room to room...whether I was there for 1 minute or and hour. He contantly was under my feet (especially in the kitchen). I truly miss him.
But, I now have Charlie who does the same thing, he hits me on the leg with his big paw to get my attention (which is not annoying, but sweet.) But the most annoying thing is his gas (truth be told) and he has some doozies..but Boxers have sensitive stomaches and I was forewarned of this even before we got him. He also snores like a truck, but that is adorable.
I know what you mean, my Sam would get up everytime too and there were times I would want him to just lay there (he had arthritis), but he would struggle up anyhow. Makes ya laugh...silly dogs. Just shows how much they want to be with you.
