i believe that PETa is spose to be friends to all animals right?

I don't like PETA at all. Here's a real eye opener of a video.
There are a lot better organizations for animal rights.

well i aint watched the video yet cuz my computers from like 96 but i agree PETA wants to kill a whole breed just cuz they believe pits are dangeruos or whatever and i hate people that think they're mean and killers when in fact they have a higher passing rate on the temperment test then the lab

I don't like how PETA tries to kill off breeds either. I'd rather have a pit than a Lab any day!

me2!!! even tho I have a lab =) but im planning on getting a purebred or rescue pit when both of my puppies are 7months.

I dont like what PETA does about killing off breeds but I like their investegation on Iams

PETA are a bunch of Hypocrites and arsonists!! They are supposed to defend animal rights and are against animal testing, even for medical purposes, right? One of their higher ups has diabetes and uses an insulin you can only get from animal testing. But she justifies it sayign that it helps her further her work in helping animals.

They commit arson on laboratories AND they kill alot of the animals they rescue because they can't take care of them.

They're against people eating animals. HELLO! We eat animals to survive, just like other animals.

Now, I'm against animals being raised for food being abused, cuz it's just cruel. But my nutritional needs demand meat, I'm not gonna eat soy or tofu every hour of the day because I can't get what I need from it in one meal. Whereas I could eat meat in my meals and be free to do whatever the rest of my day.

They don't even want people to have pets!!

PETA started off ok and with good intentions, but they very quickly started to blow things way out of proportion. They'll find a reason to call every person in the world cruel to animals except themselves.

I'm not even with them on the animal testing. Of course I don't think that they should be kept in cages and have stuff injected in them just to see what effect it had, but animal testing saves animals too! The first open heart surgery was performed on a dog to save it's life! And the first hemispherectomy was performed on a cat to save it from being put to sleep from a brain tumor! A vaccination to prevent FIV in cats has been developed as a result of studies done to originally find a cure or vaccination to prevent HIV and AIDS in humans!

I pick and choose what I like from PETA. I'm not a member, and I don't agree with more then about half the stuff they do, but I do agree with some of there ideas about humane treatment of all animals.
