I don't think that it would be MANS best friend. After all, girls are the ones that LOVE dogs. Boys can also but so far I have herd of no boy saying puppylove or dogz rule. It should be Humans best friend!

"Man's Best Friend" refers to "mankind" not just man and not just woman, both.

thats not true it depends on the dog my mini doxin loves to follow my dad but my great dane loves me!!
