I didn’t watch the Puppy Bowl, but checked in on it a few times. Early on there did seem to be some glaring size disparities, and I wondered what idiot was responsible. They should have sorted the pups according to size. Small puppies were getting knocked around, and perfectly nice large pups who were only trying to play came off as bullies.
On another check-in, the pups did seem to be more evenly matched, and one pup was removed for unnecessary “ruffness”. On the whole, it was boring, but if the purpose was to find homes for the pups, it was a good effort, though it could certainly be improved.
Does anyone know if they were successful in placing any of the puppies?
I changed my mind again! you are soooo right!!!!! I was trying to tell bad kitty amy the samething but something hapend to my computer but I'am back as PackLeader2! the puppy bowl is a cute show I wish I had all of the puppys!!!! again you are sooo right!!!!
That is absolutly right! All the dogs do is fight. One time, I saw a poor little puppy fall and roll over when another bigger puppy knocked it down! Also, all the puppies get is a small water bowl at the end of the "field"! Those poor puppies must be thirsty and starving! The puppies are cute though. Again, you are absolutly right!
First of all dogs don't need food 24/7 to the idiots who said they were starving. 1 meal twice a day that is all a dog should be getting.
And secondly packleader and poot you're exactly the kind of people I'm talking about. where bad behaviour is just cute and acceptable to you. The Westy was clearly distressed no ifs ands or buts about it. What is fine for your dogs was obviously not okay for some of those puppies.

"Kind of People"? Excuse me?! Trying to start something are we?!!! And what exactly is that supposed to mean?! And I'm qualifying all of your opinions. I honestly think it's just the person's opinion on how they were treated. Atleast nothing was broken and atleast no one was bleeding or anything like that!
people are abusing animals, using them as test subjects, etc & people are on here talking sh*t about the 'puppy bowl'? come on, aren't there more important issues to focus on?
and children are starving in africa that doesn't mean a kid using inappropriate language doesn't need to be scolded in class. Just because things are smaller in "importance" doesn't mean they don't need to be addressed. jesus
yes lets alll focus on huge global problems we've been trying to fix for years and probably won;t end any time soon and ignore all the things we can actually FIX within our lifetime. Again there is ALWAYS something more important.
If the puppies in the Puppy bowl were getting abused, don't you think that would be important? If there are more important issues out there then start a new thread. Animal abuse is animal abuse, why go straight for a major one when you can prevent a minor one?

I've SEEN animal abuse, and that WAS NOT animal abuse.
it's not YOUR concept of animal abuse. I consider allowing your dogs to become obese abuse as much as someone starving them.
I consider letting a dog be terrorised by other dogs to be abuse. Not ALL dogs get along with ALL dogs if a dog is reacting the way that westie was it needed to be separated THEN.
I wasn't saying that the Puppy Bowl was or wasn't abuse, I was saying that if it was, then something needed to be done no matter the severity of the abuse.
I didn't watch the Puppy Bowl (I was watching the real one but judging by the way it turned out I should have watched the puppy bowl). So I can't say if it was abuse or not.

Oh, and by the way badkittyamy, MY dog is good. Why? Because of ME! But they are pupies, they are cooped up in cages (some of them) daily. They need socialization. That "game" right there could have helped them. YOU don't know everything. And I'm not saying I do. But you are arguing about NOTHING. It's over. That think was tapped a year or two before it was aired. It's not like they were there for days. Just two or so hours. And don't judge me by what I say. Because I could say A LOT about you from what you say, but I don't. Because I'M not like that.
