i have a 2yr old mix breed ,lately she has been constantly chewing and scratching, it's never been this bad i've tried alot of combing for fleas ,vaccuming ,no new food or soap, but her skin is kindof smelly and greasy, but she will not stop chewing on herself or scratching her belly, i cannot afford a vet visit right now i wish i could she's like one of my kids (but just not covered on my insurence!) i feel bad for telling her to stop and i can't stand to see her uncomforatable,any suggestions? (i'm willing to try almost anyhing.

Hey wolflady35, my dachound has the same problem, I don't know whats causing it either. It may be mites under the skin or mange, we've tried to cure him with mange but it didn't work, I don't know what it is!!! I'm confused, hope you figure it out.
