he hasnt ate for the last 2 days and im worried i dont know if he is sick or what, butt something needs to be done, he drinks water and he doesnt vomit or anything butt ive tried wet food dry food and treats all he does is sniffs them and walks away.the snow just melted here in mn and i dont if the change in weather couldve gotten him sick. but do you think this is serious like cancer or something he's almost a year old if that helps but hasnt had shots.

You need to bring him to the vet.

I live in Minnesota too and I've never heard of, or had my dogs get sick because of the weather changes.

Only a vet can diagnose cancer or something of that nature, as a biopsy would have to be done.

Please see a vet as soon as possible.

i have one more question ,we used to let my dog run outside not on a leash when the females were in heat do you think my dog would like starve himself because he is in desperation of a female he mightve mated or something like that.so he starves himself until we let him of the leash again.??

Letting your dog run outside while intact females are in heat is a bad idea. In heat females can cause a host of problems, first and foremost being unwanted puppies that add to the millions of dogs that are put to sleep each year.

It also puts your dog at risk of dog fights, injuries, and serious vet bills.

Your dog could get very stressed out by not being able to mate a female in heat.

You need to get your dog neutered, and if the female dog is yours as well, she needs to be spayed.

Responsible pet owners know that bringing unplanned litters into the world is very bad. No one who truly loves dogs will add to the millions of unwanted dogs that already exist.

I agree with angeeleeta. You need to get your dogs spayed and neutered. Get them all up to date with their shot records. Some times when females are in heat the male will eat less. Either way, the vet is needed!

Best not to try any home remedies since you do not know what is causing him not to eat.

He needs to go to a vet soon, like in the next 24 hours if he's not eating.

Hope he gets better!

In the future, getting your dogs vaccinated will avoid big vet bills and pain for the dog.
