I ran across this ad in our local paper. I think it's kinda intresting given all the debates we've had on this particular topic. But it also makes me wonder are such breeds "CKC" standard???
LABRADOODLE PUPPIES. F1 CKC Registered. Cream. Ready now. $600. 906-***-****.
CKC is actually a worthless kennel club used by bybs and puppy mills. It's actually called the Continental Kennel Club. They host no shows or anything to actually try to help improve the "breeds." Unfortunately of course, many people assume it means something like the Canadian Kennel Club (also goes by CKC, but now I mainly see it called CanKC)
Good to know...I also assumed that CKC was Canadian Kennel club. I looked up the other one and thier breed list...and WOW there are ton of breeds I've never even heard of but no labradoodles. LOL!!
The breed list isn;t my concern what bothers me is that UNDER the breed list they have advertisements for puppies with listed prices. No responsible breeder EVER posts prices for pups online.
I don't see the problem with posting a price. It serves to weed out people who aren't interested in paying that much before they even call. What's wrong with that?
silly question on my part...but how can they be registered by the Continental Kennel Club when they doing list Labradoodle as one of their breeds? False advertisement maybe?
Keep in mind with the number of breeds on that site that the FCI has alot more breeds than we do. I actually didnt see my breed, the Berger Blanc Suisse up there, which is recognized by the FCI.
