Oooooh, I see. I always assume people for older then what they are.
Psychology refers to the way the brain works and what people think... loose definition of it.
What moves a person to abuse a dog is usually past abuse of themselves, or one of many psychological ticks. For instance, many serial killers exhibited beating, abusing and killing animals before they actually killed a person. It takes a very unstable and mentally ill person to beat, harm and purposely hurt an animal.
Speaking of abuse, I was watching Animal Cops Detroit last night and there was this dog with her 11 puppies on there that were out in freezing conditions without shelter, food or water. I got really upset cause all of her puppies ended up dying from hyperthermia. Here was I thinking: How would this owner feel if HE were left outside in the freezing cold without any shelter or food??
I saw that episode as well, absolutely heart breaking. When she was rescued with her two remaining puppies she was so worried about them when vet techs tried to save them. But there was a happy ending for the mom, she was adopted by a caring humanbeing...hopefully till a ripe old age!
I love alot of dogs and I love my dog and I don't see how they can do that to that dog and I didn't see that episode,I try not to watch it, and I don't understand how even the seriel killers can do that to a human and or a dog!!!! It just isn't right...I think that the presidents should pay less attention to the problems in other countries and work on the problems in the U.S.!!!
Great point doggiegirl!!!!!!!!!!! Sometimes I wish they did have to literally walk amile in their pets shoes! Their pets would shure be happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ya anyway corgislovable! Animal abuse isnt taken seriosly by our president! instead of fixing the problems in the US he has to stick his nose in other countries bissines!

For the record I'm 12. I always get upset when Animal Cops is on, especially Animal Cops Miami, because that's right around where I live and to see all the awful things happening to those animalsjust hurts my heart. I want to take every single one home and give it the loving home it DESERVES.
I understand how you feel. Last night on Animal Cops Detroit, there was this dog who had gotten abused by her owner. The poor thing had head trauma, plus had terrible cataracts in both eyes and was blind. And to top that off, all her teeth on the bottom of her jaw were to the gums so it was hard for her to eat, and that also made it difficult for her tongue to stay in her mouth. So, it constantly hung outside her mouth. Ppl like that are just CRUEL! But the good thing was that this guy got 4-5 years in jail plus probation.
