I have neighbors that have 5 animals and they are all tied up. And when they get lose they do not want to come back!! And they are very strong dogs because they are tied up with metal. Because here is a list of stuff they was tied up with before they broke it rope and metal so what should they do? They never walk them because the dog draggs them on the grass and they stay tied up all year long only when they take them a bath. And they are 3 dogs that all have dog houses but they only have a little space! But the owners do feed them and give them water. And they have a little pup that stays in its cage sometimes. And the breeds are one mutt, one lab, and one collie o.h. and the one that stays in the cage is a mix of something? But the collie does weird things like chews on its dog house? If you know anything about the collie's weird thing tell me please or anything what I wrote. And they got three cats. Its very sad when you look at the dogs.
Keeping dogs chained up is very bad for their mental health. Dogs that are chained also have a much higher chance of biting then dogs that aren't chained up.
However, chaining isn't against the law as long as food and shelter are provided.
I do not agree with it and would never chain my dogs for any length of time.
Well one time one of their dogs got loose and did not bit me and all of their dogs never bit me before. They are not mean but thanks for your anwser. But the collie what is with its weird thing
I think chaining your dogs are ok depending on how long they are and if its an everyday thing or not. but keeping them on a chain all the time is bad and should be illegal, I know a couple cities around here have made it illegal to chain your dog.
if you only have them chained up when your giving them a bath, chillin in your front yard or whatever then I think its not a big deal

I honestly think that they should take the collie to the vet. But it could be an anxiety thing. If you pick a dog off of a street, you have to be aware of things about the dog that aren't on record. And it could just be bored or something.
my dogs use to chew on their dog houses, it could be a couple things anxiety, boredom, or something with its teeth and chewing makes it feel good. they need to take it to the vet either way
The collie may also be younger and so exploring more with its mouth.
Chained dogs are vulnerable to other animals including other dogs and that is why they can become aggressive, as self defense because they can't run or hide.
These dogs have each other which is good but dogs should be walked. Maybe you can ask your neighbor if they would mind if you walked the dogs. I'd walk them individually at first.
