Hehe, sorry for the long leave. I've actually been pretty busy lately. I graduated highschool yesterday believe it or not :P Now I'm just trying to learn how to type on this dang lap top. I already have my work cut out for me trying to figure out the new windows Vista. Roll Eyes
Could be worse I guess so I apologize in advance for any typos (hitting the space bar seems to be my biggest issue the keys are so flat).

Not sure how Pet talk has been since I left, Hopefully I will see some familiar people responding to my post.

All is well with me and my dogs. The raw diet is going great. My dad loves it now too. He's amazed that they defecate so little. It's really helped me realize just how much of dog food is fillers that do absolutely no good for the dog, even in a "good" brand like Nutro. I'm going to have to get some pics of Rosie up. Her coat is amazing, it's so shiny it actually gleams blue in the sunlight. Big Grin

Hi, Sugarbird!

I know what it's like to be busy..this week has been crazy with work and everything too! Congrats on graduating High School!!!! I know what that's like..afterwards you're wondering what you're gonna do next? I graduated high school almost 10 yrs ago to the day and I remember feeling a sense of relief when I graduated. When I was at college, however, it seemed like a blur for me when I graduated(and it's been two yrs now!!!).
Katie's doing just great. I finally gradually changed her food over from Purina One to Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover's Soul dog food. I have to say that that food is the BEST quality food I've ever given Katie!!!! It's actually made her calm down a little bit and her coat is much shinier! She has a tendency to aggrivate our cats at home and chase after them every chance she can get! HAHAA!

Welcome back. At least now the quality of postings here will go up. I would suggest that you read all the recent replies here. But before you do, you should have a bag nearby. That will prevent a mess when you upchuck. Wink

Hello!

Glad to see you back, and congratulations on graduation. Do you have college plans now?

I just finished my last college final last Thursday, and am looking forward to never have to attend another class again in my life.

Congrats! I am actually going to my brother's graduation tomorrow. I haven't been on lately either, since my computer decided that it hated my iPod/iTunes, thus it crashing and us having to rebuild it. Sounds fun doesn't it?

Thanks guys! Smile

Boy, by the sound of some of your guy's remarks (lizziedog, galaxygoddess, applesmom) it doesn't seem like Pet Talk has been very....ummm...Productive.

Doggiegirl, I'm glad Katie is doing good on her new food. It sounds like you made a very good decision regarding her health Smile

I'm attending a state university here in town so I'm still living at home. I'm planning on getting a masters in Biology so I can continue working with animals. There's plenty of really cool jobs available for biology degrees that I would enjoy. Of course I'll deffinitly keep up a dog training career as well. I will have to move out of town for like 2 years though after college graduation because the university I'm attending doesn't go up to masters but I can worry about that later.

I've been totally spoiled with graduation though, I don't know what to do with myself. I got a new couch, an entertainment system, LCD TV, DVD/VCR player, the laptop, a nintendo DS, a pearly conure, new games for my PS2....It's crazy. The couch is really comfy too.

Trina goes to the vet next week on Tuesday for vaccinations along with Kit and Summer. Hopefully she is at a healthy weight, I'm hoping between 85 and 90 if I'm being realistic for an Akita mix. Although she was 102 when she was obese a few years back.
