After competing in long-drive competitions I would love to see a golf ball hit by a driver. It would be cool to see the difference between a USGA (United States Golf Association) approved driver vs a non-approved driver.
The USGA outlaws some drivers due to what they call the "trampoline effect." This term is used to describe how the face of a driver reacts when a ball is hit. They try to capture the "springiness" by measuring the Coefficient of Restitution and outlawing clubs over a certain amount.
Seems like there are endless possibilities with golf (e.g. seeing a ball stop on a green or a ball being hit through various substances)
Yes! Let's take it further and analyze the entire swing. I want to see the angle of impact and how it causes a slice or draw. I would like to see the ball leave the driver and iron and see the spin that determines its trejectory.
