I had breast cancer 1996 and was cancer free for 10 years. In 2006 it came back in my gall bladder, bone marrow and bones. I have received harmone treatments. The first meds my body couldn't tolerate and then I was given Faslodex injection. I have been on it since Aug 2007. Now, it stopped working. My markers went up considerably, I had a PET/CT scan Friday and will get results on Tues. June 24. I also am plagued with Lymphocytic colitis, diagnosed in January. I am on meds for that and can't eat very many fresh fruits or veggies - my diet is limited. All the good eating habits I had since my first cancer is out the window. I am really wondering what to do and of course now I am very scared about what the PET report will be. My Onc. suggests that he may have to do Chemo this time. Any comments will be greatly appreciated. I am 69 1/2 and 5'3" - have always been active and energetic. Mable.
