Flower was the most special Dessert Rose. Her beauty unrivaled by any other. Flower brought love,strength,and nobility to the Whiskers. She stood tall, and proud of her Whiskers family and for all those who watched. I know right now she is in heaven , in the dessert, keeping watch over her beloved Whiskers family.

Flower, through your actions you showed how to be a leader of a large clan and a caring mother to one litter at a time as well. You were brave, caring, feisty, playful and so much more. You showed how all of those rolls can be filled successfully by the right one in that roll.

I still haven't gotten over the death of Flower. I haven't watched an episode since. Her death left me heartbroken and disenchanted with the whole series. The mere thought of Flower's tragic demise still brings me to tears. I don't think I will ever watch Meerkat Manor again

It did me the same way but im not giveing up on MM! I watch to the end of the 3d mm i have all 3 but im not willing to watch flowers death agien.

can someone please tell me how flower died!!! I was moving when she died and haven't been able to figure out how she died.

I know it has been more then a year ago, but everytime I think of Flower and her passing, it stops my breath for a second and can't still believe it. I remember the first time I watched the show 2 years ago; I did not think anything could hurt Flower, but now I know that as immortial as she was against other Meerkats, that's not the case when the man upstairs wants her to join him. I believe that she was taken because she had fulfilled her duties on earth, and now she is with the rest of her beloved family in paradise.

I cannot agree with you more. Although it has been over a year, it is still fresh in our minds. I always remember Flower as a tall, brave and strong leader and to have her not here is too much sometimes to believe. I look at the painting I have of her and smile as she looks so beautiful. I do not know if I can get thru the movie without shedding a lot of tears, but it will be wonderful seeing her beautiful face again. I know that AP will do her justice and I do hope that they show all of the Meerkats that have passed away. I am looking forward to May 25th.

I know it may be a little late for this, but I don't think you guys fully understood what she has done to me. She touched our hearts, but she left a legacy that will never be forgotten. A legacy that will live on in the hearts and souls of other meerkats, and us. She may not be with us and the Whiskers, but her spirit remains with us. She will be with us always. Maybelline and Rocket Dog will carry on her legacy even though the Whiskers has split apart since Flower passed on to Heaven, but its a good thing because that means that Flowers Legacy will live on in other groups that evicted Whiskers will make. She has left the Earth, but will never leave us. I know she is watching down from Heaven and smiling upon us all.

As i am reading some of the older posts on here from last October, I still feel the same way, even though it is from 6 months ago I still feel the same way as some of the posts by you guys from last Oct.

I love reading these posts and Philmeerkat...I know how you feel...I agree with everything everyone else is saying too. It has been some time since Flower has passed, but because of who she was and all that she did it still is like yesterday. Of course it does not help when AP is showing season 3 over and over again. This time I did not tune in. I stayed away from the very sad episodes. I still wonder how an animal so small can touch so many for so long. I think many of you know that I got a painting of her for Christmas. I have it in my livingroom and I see here everyday...looking so tall and so strong. It brings me back to the first time my husband was watching MM and I asked who is that? And it all began for me...I was hooked. Never did I think she and alot of the others would die. You see I am a person who likes chick flicks and Sleepless in Seattle
type movies....happy endings, but I could not stay away.

Although she is gone, I want to remember her everyday because when I think of her I smile but then start crying when I read all of these wonderful things about her. I come on here 1st and if I see that someone has posted on the Flower thread, I know that it is something very kind and quite special, just as she was. So I read and cry and do the same each day. I think I must like it that way.

Many of us celebrated Flower's passing at the one year mark and also her birthday. Both at zoos. I will do this each year. I think she deserves that.

Thank you all for reading this. Sometimes she brings out the best in me. Maybe she will continue to do just that.

I'm just returning to the burrow and playing catch-up, and I recall that you had some beautiful posts after JE. Yes, it seems like yesterday. I just am so grateful to even have known about sweet little Flower. I know that it is sad, but then I think of what I would have missed without her. We have all lost loved ones, but I remember the love and the impact that they had in my life and I can't help but to smile that I even had the beauty of them in my life.

I marvel at the lives that Flower touched...so many...I feel that we are all so lucky to have come to know her and even though she is not visible, her legacy is growing stronger every day. I will miss seeing her, but I will also remember her and the things she did. Our Little Desert Rose will never fade. That is why I tell her goodnight and not goodbye!

The reason I started watching MM was due to the commercials I saw about Flower, even though the commercials portrayed Flower as a great Meerkat the did not fully touch what she truely was. When I started watching the episodes, Flower was everything advertised and many more. She was a part of why Meerkats are so popular in the present day, but she also made her family a force to be wreckened with and that is why each one of us talks about other Meerkats like Mozart, Zaphod, Youssy, Shakes, Tosca, RD, Maybeline, Kinks along with Flower and the rest of them on a constant basis.
