My granddaughter, who will soon celebrate her 9th birthday, have been watching Meerkat Manor since the first episode. We knew about Flower's death prior to the Sept 28 episode, but we still cried. Flower displayed all the attributes of a good leader - she was tough when she needed to be, compassionate when she needed to be (as evidenced by the acceptance of Axle), and was willing to sacrifice herself for her family. Don't we wish that our human leaders all exhibited the same traits! She will be missed, but not forgotten.

I'm 14 and have been watching since the very first episode. Aside from here, I cannot seem to be able to find another person who loves the show as much as I do. I agree, she had very good qualtites that I wish more humans had. If they did, the world would be a much better place.
