Roll Eyes

Flower was a strong and heroic heroine. She led her troop with intellegence and courage. She WAS the Whiskers. I have decided to name my little long haired chiquaqua after her in memorium.

Mozart was a very different heroine. She was always loyal and courageous and caring and protective of the troop, but she also had other needs. She could not be asexual as was required of all of the troop except Flower and Zaphod.

She wanted and needed her own male and family, she was always trying and being disapointed. The guys always accepted her favors but then left her. She tragicaly lost all her children. And in the end, when she was sure she was to have happiness with Wilson, it seemed she had lost again. She was, unfortunately, not to know that Wilson did come back to her. Her life was truly a Shakesperean tragedy.

Mudpud-

When I think of her life I am so sad. She just wanted love. I can only hope she now knows that Wilson cam e back for her. I can't bear to believe she felt like she was to be all alone again. I do believe though that Sophie was her daughter.

You're right Flower was the Whiskers, but as I've said so many times in my postings:

Mozart was stonger than Flower, she had to be in order to survive.
Flower had everything and strived for nothing.
Mozart had nothing and strived for everthing.

Mozart also left behind 6 beautiful kats although one has been listed as missing. Unfortunely MM only spoke of Sophie and for awhile Spud, maybe we will hear about the other 4 (2boys and 2 girls), in the upcoming season.

When Flower died I shed a lake of tears but when Mozart died I shed at the least an ocean of tears.

I really wish that they would have done a Memorial board for her so that we could all come to 1 common area to post and read all the beautiful poems, songs and heartfelt words that have been posted, rather than jumping back and forth between all the different boards.

Season 4 will be missing some of the best Meerkats in the Kalahari.

Flower: brave leader, loving mother, faithful companion.
Mozart: resilient, loving unconditionally, caring to all those in need
Kinkajou: daughter, sister, companion to Carlos
Carlos: DM to Starskys, companion to Mozart and Kinkajou
Len & Squiggy: Flowers pups who never got the opportunity to live
I'm not sure if I missed any but if I did their lives were just as important.

So many deaths, so many tears. The Kalahari will never be the same.

RIP to all the Meerkats we have lost this season.

Amen, meerkata, amen.

(i, too, keep hoping for a dedicated tribute board. Jumping around, plus having the board go completely down right after Mozart died---just doesn't seem like AP is remembering Mozart the way she deserves to be remembered. But what do i know, i'm a newbie. I'd be willing to transfer all the grieving posts to the Episode if Mozart ever gets a tribute.

Thanks all of you that have. I'm logging out at some point tonight. I'll hopefully make it to the candlelighting--i lit a single one already for Mozart--if i don't get back on---hugs to you all. i'm with you in spirit. Mozart's spirit lives on.

I'm a newbie too but I have read probably all the posts, just can't get logged on most of the time to respond. I love them all and feel as if I've lost a part of me because of their deaths, and yes, MM will not be the same without them. No one understands why I feel so sad inside, but I can come here and grieve and remember with you guys. I watch something from any of the MM seasons everyday, and they still make my heart happy. Thank you all for being here!
