Has everyone already forgotten about Tosca? Tosca was last seen getting rather cozy with Carlos from the Lazuli in Season 1! Why did no one send an birthday shout out to Tosca? She should be the same age as Mozart, and Shakesphere! If they do have more brothers and sisters, I do not know what their names are. Can anyone help me out?

I still think of lovely Tosca...She was seen with one of the Carlos (they called more than one rover, Carlos)...her research name was Badiel and she was actually in Flower's first litter while Mozart and Shakespeare were in the 2nd litter...Tosca was born on 08-18-02 and had two littermates (a male name Stato who left the group as an adult and a female named Skinner who died as a teenager/junior). She will always been remembered and loved by many. The researchers never discovered what happened to her....

Thank-You! If that is true, then how come in Season 1 Tosca was refered as Shakesphere's little sister? Where did you find this information out? My other questions are: 1. What group did Stato go to? 2. How did Skinner end up dying? 3. Was the father Zaphod or was it Youssarian?

I loved Tosca she was so sweet and was so loving to the pups. Tosca was a good kat and I miss her a lot...

How beautiful to have a Tosca memorial. We celebrated her birthday in the Jeopardy burrow, on the Mix board. Zaphod was the father. I can't remember what Pronker said about Stato and Skinner. try the Find button.

I found it out by a friend who has the book, written by Professor Tim-Clutton Brock's book about Flower and the Whiskers...I don't know why the show refers to her as Shakespeare's younger sister, but they are constantly changing things around anyways...I don't know where Stato went or how Skinner died, but I am sure Pronker does....and Zaphod is Tosca's father..

I loved Tosca so very much.To this day the last image we had of lonley Tosca was atthe end of season 1 and Sean astin said of Tosca"her solitude is final" still haunts me to this day.I'm sure she is dead but now with all her family. Rest dear sweet Tosca.

All last winter I sustained the hope that Tosca had formed a new family outside the KRR. The first time I was inspired to get a screen name and say something on the boards was one year and 2 days ago, on a thread about intervention - mostly about Tosca and little Blossom. Tosca's label of "rebelious" is just studio hype: she was caring and loyal and loving and brave. When she had babies shortly after Flower, and the family moved, she carried each one of her babies to the new burrow. Wherever she is, I hope she is well and happy.

I am very please to see a memorial for Tosca. She was such a lovely little kat. Like all of you I still hold out hope that she is alive and making a life for herself with another mob. No matter where she is I send her my love and hope she is happy.

Tosca was always one of my favorites as well and to this day I still believe that she is out there as DF of her own mob.

Tosca also had a litter of pups that remained with the Whiskers although she was evicted, they are DeLaSoul renamed Whoopi, Arrested Development, Bad Boy Bubby and Flava Flav which she gave birth to on 03/09/04.
Another litter of hers was Maladoy (McMurphy) Jogu and another unnamed male born on 10/10/04.

Tosca disappeared 01/17/05 after the Whiskers reunited and Flower evicted her for the final time some time after that is when she disappeared.
Stato left the group 01/23/06 with Arrested Development and Bad Boy Bubby but I'll have to check the updated from KMP to see if they are mentioned again.


I pray that Tosca is out there somewhere perhaps with Shakespeare my all time #1 favorite and they are just outside of the study area. Hopefully they are healthy and DF and DM of their own mobs but within a close territory of each other.

I think that Tosca ended up like Shakey. Not dead. I'm sure that she is starting her own mob way, way on the other side of the Kalahari. I believe that she is with Shakey, my #1 favorite meerkat of all. I believe that she is just outside of the study area. Tosca and Shakey are SAFE!!! I know they are. I love Tosca, Mozart, Flower, and Shakey!!!!!

Oh thanks. I also believe that Shakespeare(Shakey) ended up like Tosca and is with another group that they are dominants in. Being the offsprings of Flower, I have no doubt that they are survivors and great leaders.

I loved Tosca. And I've written several posts about her in different places because she was special. She was beautiful and independent. She had courage and took a lot of risks. We were never told how or when she died, but I know she was wearing a collar because the researchers believed she had begun another group separate from the Whiskers. I don't understand the producers of this show. If they found Tosca dead couldn't they have told us? I would love a memoriam for this fearless kat. And Zaphod and Flower were her parents. She would have made a powerful, great leader had she lived. For those who are unsure, Tosca died. Her solitude is final. Rest in peace sweet girl. I still love you.
