A sentry here
A sentry there

Because the tiny pup
In the lair

Is delicate and easy to kill
And Flower could do it
at her will

But because she is merciful and kind
She leaves the pup to calm down and unwind

The wayward daughter chuckles
As she pulls of this naughty act.
Because self control is what this sloppy daughter lacked.

Flower stood by until it got out of hand
When the daughter repeated this
From her family she was banned.

She didn’t want to cause
Baby pain
But Flower’s pups needed to live
And when she died, they would reign

Poor Flower’s claws were tied
She couldn’t face her kid again
Even if she tried

The Rose was great and brave
Axle’s life she soon would save

As the snake threatened to bite
Flower crawled where there was no light
A bite to the head
Left her stumbling soon dead

But her new daughter lives on
Helping bring on the dawn
Of a brand new shimmering day.

Flower was noble
Flower was true
Merciful and daring too.

She’s more than a foot tall
At least that’s what I’ve seen
Because the rose was more than the leader
She was the Queen.
