hi there im seriously considering a tummy tuck but im scared of the pain after. has anyone had a tummy tuck wot was the pain like after and what was the recovery time... any help would be great

everyone has different experiences. my experience was not painful at all. I feel it has so much to do with the surgeon you pick. I did my homework on many doctors and i'm glad i choose the one i did. sexymee - i'm considering a tummy tuck myself. i had lipo last october. anyhow, i've been told by two doctors that i needed to be sure that i was not going to have anymore children if i get the tummy tuck. they didn't explain why but they wanted me to be sure i was done. hope that helps.

my tummy tuck surgery was not painful for me. I also had a breast augmentation with a little breast lift and a areola reduction. i have to say that had little more discomfort than my tummy tuck. that means u didn't even need strong pain medication like vicodins maybe just regular tylenol.
